PSU Chamber Choir's Latest CD named "A Recording to Die For" in Stereophile Magazine

The latest CD by the PSU Chamber Choir, "Into Unknown Worlds" has been named a "2014 Recording to Die For" in Stereophile Magazine. The list, which includes very few classical recordings and no other student recordings, will be published in the February, 2015 issue of the Magazine which will hit the stands right after New Year's. 
Stereophile writer Jason Serinus says "This marvelously recorded compendium of “modern choral music from the far reaches of the globe” rises to the top thanks to the quality of its music and singing and to its captivating sense of space."

Stereophile's list of "Recordings to Die For" dates back decades and includes very few student recordings, and no other recordings by a student choir. 
Founded in 1975, The Portland State Chamber Choir has a broad national and international reputation, having won awards in five separate international competitions including becoming the first ever American choir to win the Seghizzi International Competition for Choral Singing in 2013.
